EDWIN COE WINS THE LEAGUE

The Edwin Coe football team has won The Wharf David Beckham Tuesday Academy League. The team clinched the title by beating Forrester 5-1. Anthony Adoo (Facilities Assistant) finished 2nd top goal scorer in the league with 19 goals, and James Dewar (Facilities Manager) was nominated by Top Corner as player of the season.

Ali Zaidi, a Partner in Edwin Coe’s insolvency team, was superb in goal, making many important saves, and the team were expertly marshalled, as ever, by Alexis Bohannan (Facilities Assistant).

Joe Gibbons and Chris Powell, who are also both Facilities Assistants, added balance and fitness to the midfield area and scored some impressive goals, whilst Corporate lawyer, Matt Overton, and Trainee Solicitor, Leo Nabarro, were also crucial team members and weighed in with good performances throughout the season.
