James joined Edwin Coe as a Trainee in September 2006. He has a Degree in English from Leicester University, and subsequently completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the Bristol Institute of Legal Practice.

Before becoming a trainee solicitor, James worked for several years as a journalist, specialising in aviation and logistics. He has travelled widely and worked for two years in Japan. James has completed seats in Insolvency & Restructuring, Insurance Litigation and Employment Law.  He is currently in his final seat with the Litigation & Dispute Resolution team.
