James joined Edwin Coe as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2009. He graduated from Loughborough University in 2005 with a 2:1 honours degree in English & Publishing, and took a gap year before commencing the Graduate Diploma in Law in 2006. Prior to his legal studies, James worked at Goldman Sachs & Stephenson Harwood, and in the US as Legal Extern for The McMillan Law Firm in California, dealing with Employment & Real Estate disputes.

Following completion of the Legal Practice Course in 2008, James worked at Lloyds TSB in the in-house Legal & Commercial Department, and completed a work placement at Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP gaining experience in the Betting & Gaming and Litigation sectors.

James has recently been awarded a 2:1 honours degree in Law. He completed his first seat as a trainee in Insolvency and is currently undertaking his second seat in the Insurance Litigation group.

James is a member of the City of Westminster and Holborn Law Society and the International Law Association.
