Nick qualified in 1985. Having worked as an assistant for 5 years at Nabarro Nathanson, he joined Reid Minty as a Partner in 1992. He joined Edwin Coe as a Partner in 2008.

Nick specialises in commercial litigation, defamation and employment law. He has worked on many high profile cases, for companies, individuals, unions, charities and trusts. These have included numerous injunctive proceedings and search orders. Nick is a Court approved supervising solicitor for search orders. He has handled almost every type of dispute, including between directors, shareholders, partners and beneficiaries, section 459 petitions, complex contract and fraud claims and contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The defamation work involves claims against most of the high profile newspapers and magazines, as well as between individuals.

Nick’s work includes many international clients with cross-border disputes, particularly involving clients based in Russia, Ukraine, Cyprus, Dubai and Saudi Arabia.

Nick also acts for a number of bailiff firms and specialises in the law of distress.
