Chris is the Senior Partner of Edwin Coe LLP as well as being the senior litigation and dispute resolution and contentious insolvency partner at Edwin Coe LLP.

In addition to commercial litigation and arbitration, Chris practises in all fields of insolvency and restructuring, having edited and written many Butterworths published books on the subject.

Chris is also an expert in corporate liability and directors liability and disqualification proceedings. He lectures internationally and has been listed as an expert in his field in “Who’s Who in The Law” and described as “superb” by Chambers Directory.

Chris is the Law Society nominee on the Insolvency Users Committee and is a member of the Technical Committee of the Insolvency Lawyers Association.

Chris’s professional qualifications, credentials and memberships include:-

  • Chartered Arbitrator
  • Crown Court Recorder (sitting as a judge in criminal and civil cases)
  • Licensed insolvency practitioner
  • Member of the Panel of Chairpersons for the Sports Resolution Service
  • Member of the Disciplinary and Regulatory Committees of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
  • Assistant Boundary Commissioner

Chris has also written a number of books, in particular “Personal Insolvency: Law & Practice (Butterworths) 3 editions”, “Vol. 3 (2) Encyclopaedia of Forms & Precedents”, “Vol. 7 Atkins Court Forms (Bankruptcy)”, “Vol. 10 Atkins Court Forms (Winding Up)” and numerous articles.
