Nikki trained with Edwin Coe and qualified in 2005. She advises on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property law; from the acquisition and protection of IP rights, to commercial use and exploitation, to dealing with infringement and revocation issues.

Nikki's background is in litigation and she recently advised CellXion Networks LLC and others in an action involving allegations of copyright infringement, misuse of confidential information and breach of restraint of trade covenants. An injunction against the clients was set aside (on the basis that it should never have been granted) and the proceedings against the clients were subsequently dropped. Nikki is currently advising the same clients in patent revocation proceedings. She has experience of a broad range of commercial disputes including those relating to liability and coverage issues against insurance companies and claims for professional negligence.

Nikki is Co-Chairman of the Conservative City Circle Lawyers' Group and a member of the executive committee of the Society of Conservative Lawyers.
