Alan has been a partner and member of the litigation and dispute resolution team at Edwin Coe since 1988. He deals extensively with general commercial disputes, including fraud claims.

He has acted in all areas of insolvency, covering bankruptcy, individual and company voluntary arrangements, receiverships, administrations and liquidations.

Recent cases have included an application for a validation order, advising on the conduct of administration, a claim against directors of an insolvent company for negligence and shareholders' disputes.

Alan's current areas of practice and property litigation (including landlord and tenant matters, service charge disputes and other matters relating to land such as the enforcement of contracts) and contentious probate, including fraudulent wills.

Alan is an Associate Member of the Insolvency Lawyers Association, Member of the Society for Advanced Legal Studies and subscriber to R3.
