Matthew joined the firm as a trainee in September 2005 and qualified into the Corporate and Commercial team in September 2007. He has a 2.1 Degree in Business Studies, obtained at Sheffield Hallam University (1997), a Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course (Distinction), completed at the College of Law, London. Prior to joining Edwin Coe, Matthew worked as an IT consultant.

Matthew deals with a broad range of transactional and advisory work including company affairs, reorganisations, mergers and acquisitions, IPOs (with particular emphasis on the PLUS market) and general commercial work.
