Matthew joined the firm as a trainee in September 2005 and qualified into the Corporate and Commercial team in September 2007. He has a 2.1 Degree in Business Studies, obtained at Sheffield Hallam University (1997), a Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course (Distinction), completed at the College of Law, London. Prior to joining Edwin Coe, Matthew worked as an IT consultant.

Matthew deals with a broad range of transactional and advisory work for both private and public companies, including company affairs, reorganisations, mergers and acquisitions, IPOs (with particular emphasis on the PLUS market) and general commercial work.
