Edwin Coe is delighted to announce that Shams Rahman has been announced as a new Trustee to the Solicitors Benevolent Association (SBA) Board.

SBA The Solicitors’ Charity is the benevolent fund for solicitors – both past and present – and their families.  It has been working at the heart of the legal profession for over 150 years to help ensure that no solicitor is unsupported in times of need or crisis.  SBA’s services include financial support and help with career transition.

Commercial and Property Litigation Partner, Shams acts for a wide range of both corporate and private clients including many international clients.  He is a regular speaker at events promoting law career development and mentoring of law students and young professionals.  Shams values education, having been involved in mentoring an East London comprehensive school as part of the Mosaic initiative.

Shams Rahman commented “I am delighted to have been made a trustee of an association that does so much good work. I look forward to actively helping the association in as many ways as possible.”
