Edwin Coe is delighted to announce that Insolvency Partner, Simeon Gilchrist took over from Andrew Tate as The Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3) – SPG Chairman on the 16 October 2015. Simeon would like to express his thanks to Andrew for his hard work and dedication over the past three years, and he is very much looking forward to carrying on the Committee’s excellent work during his tenure as Chairman.

Simeon has over 20 years of insolvency and restructuring experience and throughout his career Smaller Practices Group (SPG) members have been central to his and Edwin Coe’s day-to-day work and as such, the interests of smaller firms are incredibly important to both.

The year ahead undoubtedly presents a number of challenges for the insolvency profession, with many different legislative changes coming into force during 2016. Some of these changes will be keenly felt in the SPG community. However, Simeon believes that as a resilient and enterprising community we will rise to the challenge. As SPG Chair Simeon promises his utmost to represent the views and interests of smaller firms during the changes and challenges ahead.
